I've been mostly silent because I've been observing. It's been roughly nine months since Obama took office, with the kind of grand changes that were promised, it'd be foolish to expect much more than a few hints of the actual progress. Still, I've very recently, like yesterday, decided that I can finally say with fairness that I am disappointed. Everything that was promised seems to have got a sputtering, half-assed start and then either lost steam, or in some case completely revered direction.

On the flip side of things, I think we're still better off than we would be with McCain and Palin. I'd rather have enlightened yet ineffective than ignorant and destructive.

I agree and all the ideas that did get started the people seem to be against anyway. You can never make everyone happy and his plans are going to be shot down as soon as he anounces them no matter what.     WHAT HE WANTS OUR KIDS TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND DO WELL IN LIFE? BLACK DEVIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think I am more disapointed in the people of the country for not even giving him a chance. We voted him in and then were upset that change was not immediate. Everything he proposes is a conspiracey and yadayadayada stupid ignorant people and their not knowing that the president has no power with no support.
