Meet up, play disc golf
I don't remember exactly what their policy on booze is, so BYOB at your own risk. I don't plan on drinking, cause it'll probably be too hot and humid.
Do bring: - bug spray (seriously, I have never seen a fighting force with these numbers before, and they are well armed and well organized) - sunblock - water, gatorade, ice chest, ice, etc - snacks and stuff - discs, any other toys you want to play with (bicycles, kick ball, volley ball, whatever)
I'm not renting a pavilion, so I don't know if we'll have access to a BBQ pit. Probably best to assume we will not, so just bring sammich making materials if you think you'll be hungry, or chips/candybars, etc.
The internets tells me it may rain that day, if this happens we'll postpone or something.
Feel free to invite anyone else you'd like. If you've got kids, feel free to bring them. My step dad will probably show up and wants to play disc golf with us too, so feel free to bring your parents as well. Bring everyone, even if I don't know them, even if you don't think I'll like them =p.
The basic idea is that we can all meet up, and they everyone can go do their own thing (like the BBQ, but we don't get our own pavilion or BBQ pit). You don't even have to stay at the park if you don't feel like it. Go see if the dog park is open =)
I'm going to be there all day long, starting around 11 and leaving when the sun goes down or the mosquitoes get too bad. I'll probably take a break (or two) sometime throughout the day to find a restaurant or diner and grab a snack and cool off. Feel free to show up and leave at whatever times suit you best.
You probably shouldn't get me a gift, cause then I'll feel obligated to get you one on your birthday. I'll inevitably forget, and then I'll feel really bad about it for a long time. So by getting me a gift, you just make me feel unnecessary obligations and sadness. How selfish are you?
If the other August birthdays want to, we can make this our joint August birthday celebration (or one of several). The 15th isn't even my real birthday!

The law, in its majestic equality, forbids the rich as well as the poor to sleep under bridges, to beg in the streets, and to steal bread.
