what are good attribute scores for a hero?

I think the politics attribute is supposed to boost resource production when you have your hero appointed as mayor. The others are fairly self explanatory (attack, defense)

All of my mayors currently have politics in the 80s, but they started out lower (like mid 60s I think).

If I recall correctly - higher politics will increase resource production, higher attack will build units faster, and higher intel will make research go faster.  Not 100% sure though.

I looked into the book thing too, it seems I've got several books I can't figure out how to use too.  Will continue looking into this and let you know if I figure anything out.

Thud, you had mentioned questions about the automating tool in chat last night.  Here is an example of what I fed it this morning:
Quote
Macarena:
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE

Twist:
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE
upgrade FARM_LAND
upgrade IRON_MINE
upgrade LUMBER_MILL
upgrade STONE_MINE

HokeyPokey:
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE
upgrade HOUSE

Usually, I throw in a bit of other stuff, but I just upgraded town halls in both my 2nd and 3rd cities, and I need to catch up on cottages in my main city (been slacking).

I'll probably let this go for a couple of hours, then check to make sure I don't have any error messages.  If there are error after that time, I'll log back in and make a new list of what needs to be upgraded.  If not, I'll let it go for a couple more hours.

You can also tell it like this:

Quote
upgrade FARM_LAND HighestLevel
upgrade BARRACK LowestLevel
upgrade HOUSE HighestLevel
upgrade HOUSE LowestLevel
It isn't really necessary though, with no additional paramaters, LowestLevel is the default.

A list of every possible building type:

    TRAINNING_FEILD = Rally Spot
    HEROS_MANSION = Feasting Hall
    BLACKSMITH = Forge
    FARM_LAND = Farm
    TOWN_HALL = Town Hall
    TRANSPORT_STATION = Relief Station
    IRON_MINE - Ironmine
    SENTRY_BUILDING - Beacon Tower
    EMBASSY - Embassy
    WALL - Wall
    STONE_MINE - Quarry
    HOUSE - Cottage
    TAVERN - Inn
    BARRACK - Barracks
    LUMBER_MILL - Sawmill
    ACADEMY - Academy
    WAREHOUSE - Warehouse
    MARKET - Marketplace
    STABLE - Stable
    WORKSHOP - Workshop

I'm not sure why some things have two different names.  I know that the game in beta was called Civony, and they used a lot of different names for things.  I also think the company that owns it is Chineese (the translations have actually gotten better since I've started playing).
