Anyone else get the matrix reference? "whoa. I know Kung fu!"
Oh yeah, I was waiting for it. It was predictable, but still awesome.
This was my least favorite part of the season finale. Just a bit too corney for my taste. I mean, I totally get the reference, and the fact that they are almost making fun of themselves for borrowing the idea of downloading info straight into your brain... but I really felt that was just one step to far. They could have made a much more subtle reference as a nod to their inspiration without directly quoting the movie.
I also didn't like the fact that hot chick and scary agent guy (can never remember their names) just stood there while Chuck when tall NINJA HULK GRACEFULLY SMASH on everyone. Just cause Chuck is a billy bad-ass now doesn't mean they have to stand there like date rape targets while he throws down.
tl;dr - I really like the format of the show, the formula they've been using to produce episodes works for me. I hope they don't fuck it up.
I enjoyed the over the top way they made fun of them selves. As far as Sarah and Casey just standing back and watching, what would you have done? You're tied up, and Chuck suddenly needs no assistance. lol I would just sit in amazement for awhile, personally.
Also, it's TV world, where the bad guys only have to attack one at a time, so whatever.
