I was wondering if anyone is going up to Fair Thus. evening on the last weekend and if they are in the Clear Lake area if I might be able to swing a ride in exchange for some gas money. I will have my and Roys gear which includes a tent a backpack and a bag. Roy has to work Friday in Austin but will be coming out Fri night or Sat so I will have a ride back, just need to get there Let me know if this is doable for anyone so I can figure out my Thanksgiving-Family-visiting-schedule =P
Also do we need any extra supplies for the weekend?

I'm waiting to see if I work on Thanksgiving-- if I end up in Clear Lake early enough (heading there or to faire that night), I -might- be able to help. Lemme see what the schedule/situation is like.

I'll be in Clear Lake on Thanksgiving- not sure what time, I think early. We're heading out to faire that eve. My car isn't that big (but holds more crap than I could imagine, actually..), and I'll talk to Johnny-No and see what's up-- but I think it's doable!

just checking the weather for this weekend.  its gonna rain, and we're gonna freeze our asses off.  i need to borrow a tent from someone who isn't going this last weekend.  or secure a spot in somone's tent that is going to be there.  come to think of it, i like the second option better.  no fucking with setting anything up when i get there.  i'm good on sleeping bags, mats, pads, everything else.  i just threw away my tent last year b/c it pissed me off.  i seem to do that almost every year.  one of these days i'm gonna buy a tent that i actually like.  or i'll break down and buy a travel trailer.  that would be ideal.  too poor right now though.  there is always next year.
