Being as I'm not going to be there much this year, I should really have little to say on this subject, but I had an idea I wanted to share with you guys who will be out a bunch, especially for big camp weekends.

Since TRF itself now has themed weekends, how about Ramith does its own form of themes for the campgrounds for each week where on Saturday nights we dress up to theme for the night? And I'm not talking 'pirates' or 'celts' or anything remotely rennesiance. Like a lengire (sp?) theme, or togas, or clowns, or monsters, or just wierd crazy stuff. Imagine people walking into camp and we're all dressed like clowns. or in skimpy lengire? Or better yet, clowns IN skimpy lengire? I personally think it would be a shit ton of fun.

as a possible theme, i'd like to suggest cowboy boots and jean shorts.....that way rhythm would just have to bring what he always wears

And I personally would recommend AGAINST the lingerie theme... unless of course we're going for an "Orgy" theme again too...

Why vote against it? Especially considering the most successful party ever thrown by this group (or at least a good majority, a lot of you weren't around yet then) was the LINGERIE party. We had a couple hundred people all in LINGERIE and skimpy pajamas in a two bedroom townhouse. It was fantabulous (yes, I meant to say FANtabulous you spell check nazis). But that was a while back and not at fair, so its a MOOT point.

Regardless, I still think crazy goofy themes would be a shit ton of fun.

You're right, George will totally love having men in lingerie in his RV. I want your sweaty balls all over my pillow. And Spanky's hobbit feet on the table.
But, clowns? What about Zombie's?  Punks? Cops and Robbers? (Dave's a robber) I fear there would be too many Anne Rice fans to pull off a vampire party without being absurd. I mean, who doesn't love the 80's?
You know Devon, maybe, it's just too far. Maybe we should plan themed parties for the Spring and Summer. Can we have a backhoe party? Dress up like construction workers? oooh, the possibilities are endless....

i am all for this.  i really liked thud's idea a while back of the fairy godfather weekend, with all the guys dressed up in the little fairy dresses from wal-mart, with wings and wands while chewing on a big fat blow out cigar and shit.  that might be alot of fun.

also, we could do pool party weekend.  those little kiddie pools are pretty cheap, and i could load up a bunch of water in the back of my truck to fill it up.  that might be kinda cool.  everyone in swim suits with floaties on their arms, and swim toys and shit.

just throwing ideas out there.  this group is incredibly creative, but i also think that we should keep in mind how broke everyone is, and try to keep the themes either cheap or able to made out of shit everyone has laying around somewhere.  just an idea.
