Ground rules:  We are discussing a politicians plans for improving the country here, not how moving their speeches on the subject are.  How does your candidate stand, what will they do if elected, what have they done in the past, etc.  I don't think everyone needs to start citing every source, but don't be surprised if someone asks you for evidence of of a claim or two.

Please stay away from personal attacks, against politicians and each other.

Obama on technology and network neutrality (Wikipedia)

McCain on technology and network neutrality (Wikipedia)

Slashdot

Obama is the clear winner for me concerning network neutrality, and public funding math and science.

ryan, you a cock gobbling, ass munching, quarts eating, talentless, fat bastard.  and i question your sexuality.

seriously though, while i am not a fan of socialized medicine (kind of a border line issue for me), and would love to see the scale of the federal government taken down, alot, obama seems to have teh win in most of the most important issues for me.

i am gonna hate myself for voting for mccain.

If it makes you feel any better, our votes will just cancel each other out.  That way I don't have to feel bad about voting for a goddamn liberalpinkocommiedirtyhippiesocialisttaxandspendocrat.

Ok, coming from another thread, this is definately where freedom of speech comes into play, even at times, to an abusive level. The autonomy provided by the seperationism of the internet where onen say anything theyt and not have to worry about personal confrontaion from those that disagree is a shield the soft spoken use to speak loudly. Unfortunately, as I've noticed on some forums (and by some, I mean almost all), the most degenerate moron can speak on a level platform with creative intelligent demiggods (such as myself). But it is their right.

Depriving Net Neutrality falls in here, maybe a bit with a hammer, but it does. I had to spend a while reading up on 'Net Neutrality' before I felt comfortable talking about it. I'm not a computer geek like some of you so this is not my area. But...

SERIOUSLY???

McCain wants to do WHAT???

I'm going to have to respectfully say 'Fuck That'.

In repect to Ryan's request of these threads, I have changed the last word in my post from "Him" to "That".

McCains views on network neutrality will break the goddamn internet.  Seriously, for most people, they will lose choices, as fucking ISPs begin shoving "thier" services down your throat while bandwidth limiting their competitors.

and of course, the internet and computer technology is one of the few areas where America still excels.  Talk about killing the fucking goose that lays the golden eggs.
