So I guess this is me starting a "Do first weekend up the way we did it last year kind of thing" committee...

If you helped set things up last year and don't want to this year that is totally awesome... but let us know how you did it
I know it is still a ways of but if I'm gonna try to do this I gotta work around alot of other stuff so bear with me and help me out by answering the following questions...

1.I want to try to get a head count for opening day and if you'll be staying both days.

2. if you can contribute anything (fire wood, eatables, plates and silverware...)

3. If you want to have some kind of opening ceremony like we did last year, yes, Thud I hear you. Don't worry... you'll get yours

4. Anything that I should be thinking about that I am probably not...

5. If anyone is interested in volunteering to help organize this and get it AND all of us there

1) Yes, I'll be there both days
2) I can contribute whatever needs contributing.  I do better with specifics - IE, don't ask me to "bring something", please be specific, and I will do it if it is reasonable.
3) Yes, an opening ceremony would be nice.  Maybe a nice round of wine, or something different like that?  I might be able to get enough Paradox House (my parents wine) to go around.
4) I don't know yet.
5)  I can take one other person.  I live in NW Houston, so it would need to be reasonably close.  And I plan on taking either a full or half day off work on the Friday, so I'll be leaving early to get there by early afternoon.

Discount tickets might be nice.  Plynke can set up a paypal link and we could donate for her airfare?

Im not sure who all was involved in it last year. But mainly it was about who can bring what. So, you list what you can supply off the general list i will try and get going.
(We have an average 45 members last year. Expect everyone will need of most things)

1. Plastic Cups

2.Forks, Knives, Spoons

3.Plates

4.Bowls

5.BBQ Pit

6.Meat- Something that can be shared, i.e. Hamburger, Brisket, hot dogs, ect.

7.Sides- Mashpotatos, salad, beans,

8.Drinks- Both Water and Soft Drink

9. Bread

10. Extra Ice- clean ice to put in drinks incase their warm

I didnt put down booze cause if you want it, you bring it or suck the dick of someone so they will share.

This is just a very basic started list but i think it will cover most of what is needed.
If you think of anything, post it. If you can bring something on the list, let us know on the forum so we can say you got it.

Oh, and last year what worked well for us was having the cooking started around 6ish on saturday. It works best then because most people arent TOOO drunk, and friday night is crap cause everyone is showing up, setting up, that kinda crap. As far as openning cerimony speech is concerned, it had almost no order, anyone that wants to say something, make sure you have a good idea of what to say, not just "yeah...hey..." cause we all have drinking and drugs to do and we dont need ya cutting into it.

Don't know if I'll be there opening weekend. I made a date with the greek festival, but maybe I can head up afterwards. Pending my drunkeness. I will always have extra everything, food, tent space, clothes, etc. Beer. I almost forgot beer.

I'll be there opening week end. You can count on me bringing and sharing rum, coke, dr pepper, and link sausages. Also paper towels and about enough firewood for most of one night...and fire poi, of course. 

Oh, also I'll be bringing toilet paper if anyone needs a role.

as far as a BBQ pit goes- i'm pretty sure we can cram one in the van and get it down there. and of course a coffee pot and i should find a new sun-tea jar. we may have an extra air mattress (but it might be busted). and i know nasty's got a bowl of some kind in the house! 

You can of course count on me to have sausages, cokes, water, and rum, freely sharing it like I do every weekend

ok, I'm planing on going out thirsday night and takeing tha van.  I have a bunch of stuff to bring. I got two bbq pits,10 different kinds of tea,coffie,coffie pot,tea pot,gas stove,pots and pans,castiron pots and skllit,water,hurbs,one extra mattress,extra cooler space,HAMMER,small tarp,small car port,oh knive and forks bring ur own spoons,and I think that's about it
