the 19th would be a Tues. and that is pretty difficult for most peoples..
I will be in town the weekend of the 23rd for a wedding so if we wanted to try to make a weekend event out of it I could show up Sat. evening and hang out till Sun. afternoon.

What do you guys think about that? You could do it the 30th and 31st too. I have to be in Smithville getting ready for the Faire that weekend but you guys know what your doing

I've started a costume and I was wondering how many of you were planning to make one also.  I have some ideas being that I'm an uber dork and come up with ridiculous backstories for characters.

Eva and I were talking about when would be good, and so far we've figured the best time slots available are Saturday nights or Sunday afternoons.

It looks like people are starting to really pick up on the Dark Jesters (its only taken about five years), so I suggest start looking for fabric and costume pieces that might be good for you (or others) with a jester costume. Also start thinking about your character. The jesters are going to be very dependant on characterization. Your costume should also reflect the mindset. Heath Ledger completely OUTDID me on my basic idea(big time), so I'm having to come up with something completely new.  Start considering talents you have. Juggling, spinning, bending, etc. OR, if you're like me and have NONE of these talents, I  suggest coming up with some kind of routines.

All just suggestions.

Just so I know, are we still all down for the 23rd of Aug.? maybe roll into the 24th if we need to...? Just want to be sure so I can be there for it...

Wow, this is what happens when people try to come together. Ok, so the 16th is no good, the following weekend is no good because my birthday is on the 24th. That leaves September. Nearly's bday is in Sept. right? What day? I'm throwing out the 7th? Everyone let me know how they feel about Sunday, Sept. 7th. Say noon-ish?

Both Dave and I have a birthday in September. I think Dave's is the 12th. Mine's the 26th.

Eva, that day sounds OK to me, unless something crazy comes up or I'm forgetting something major.

I will still be in town on the 23rd and 24th if anyone wants to try something those days but the first three weekends of Sept. are the Fantasy Faire so I will be pretty swamped.

P.S. the second weekend is the Musketeers weekend and I just talked to Jennas Dad. The Musketeers  will be there so if any of you get your Cardinals Guard outfits put together by then and want to come fuck with them this would be a good time

maybe not. I just got a new job and they're likely gonna send me out of state for five weeks for training. I start the 18th, so the last time I'll be seen for a while will be the R and S in smithville (including my wife and son) on the 16th.
