TRF is over

Nasty and Spanky got us a nice space on Wednesday.  When I got in on Thursday, Thud was already there, and the group grew with each night.  However, not many of us managed the entire stay.

Only Nasty, Spanky, Shriefie Thud, and myself stayed over Sunday night.  We tried a couple of new drinks (Mulled Chiraz – bad idea, Rum Tea – tastes pretty good, but makes you sleepy).  It was cold and wet, so not many camps were still out there.

Anyways, give us a while to recuperate, and its gonna be time to work on Songwood and Camelot – check the forums for more info.

So, everyone knows that the last weekend of TRF is coming.

Spanky and Nick are going to be reserving us a large space early on Thursday, so we should be good to go, in our usual spot.

I’ll be out there Thursday night, after family festivities are taken care of

Ryan and Dave plan on making punch, so bring cheap clear alcohol and some mixers (fruit punch, sprite, juice, etc)

I know some of us will be out there until Monday (I plan on it), so give us a shout if you will be there as well.

Side note:  Search Google groups for “why does my dog keep getting hiccups” (a co-worker discovered this).  Note that by the third result down, the results are…interesting.

so ramith was up to no good saturday night. let’s just say one smoke bomb was NOT enough. and i just have two words… space docking!

Thats how far I drove this weekend, to take my dog to my parents, get to fair, and back again to the casa.

Saturday night was excellent despite the rain that soaked everyone’s stuff. We hung out with Dutch and his Amsterdam relatives (and Nasty thought they’d be too old to make good camping neighbors! – hah!) for quite a while, relaxing under a tarp around a fire.

Next weekend, Spanky and Nasty are going to be out at TRF early (Spanky should be there when the gates open Thursday at 8:00AM) and rope us off a huge section. I’ll be there Thursday night after family business is concluded.

A bunch of us are planning on staying until Monday – I know I’ll be there.

Don’t forget -Last weekend of TRF is Nasty and Pearl’s birthday!
